31" BFG M/T's and 2" RE BB

Didn't take long before I had to have a lift and some real tires.  After much reading on the jeep forums ( www.jeepforum.com ) I decided to go with a Rubicon Express 2" Budget Boost and BF Goodrich tires.

The RE 2" BB is a great starter lift. It consists of 1 3/4" spring spacers, rear bumpstop extensions, and shocks.  I ordered the kit from www.allmyneeds.com and upgraded my shocks to the DT3000's. I also picked up a set of RE quick sway bar disconnectors.

I didn't really take many pictures during the install. My hand's were all greasy and stuff. My bud Rey did most of the work, I just kinda helped.  So, basically all I have are some after shots =]

New.  I was getting some driveline vibrations around 30-35mph while accelerating.  The good people on www.jeepforum.com explained that when you raise your Jeep, the angle of the rear driveshaft is increased, causing the vibes.  I followed the simple directions given for an easy fix.  It involved new bolts and washers, all available at Lowe's.

I used:

I put a jack under the transfer case and took the old bolts out on one side. Then replaced.  Just that simple.  And cheap too!
